November 8, 2021: You Don't Have To Count Calories

I remember when i to *needed* to look up menus in order to see if they fit my "lifestyle" plan (cough: diet). I thought I was being healthy. The reality? I was so, so disordered.

My friends, I've been there. I've experienced the soul-suck. The distraction and stress around every meal, logging it into myfitness pal: I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Life is so much sweeter (and healthier!) going out to eat and not having to do any mental math.

I’m actually able to be present with the ones I love and soak up the experience rather than be low key anxiety ridden over how many points or calories or macros something is.
